On 21st May, 2024, contract signing ceremony was held at the office of Sindh Secondary Education Improvement Project (SSEIP) Karachi. The event was chaired by Mr. Muhammad Rizwan Soomro, the SSEIP Project Director, and attended by representatives from M/S Matracon Pakistan Private Limited, the firm that has been awarded the Lot #01 & Lot #02 of Civil Works Package #03 for Construction of 37 (20 in Lot #01 and 17 in Lot #02) new secondary level school blocks including solar panels.
Lot #01 comprises of 16 Schools in Umerkot and 04 schools in Tharparkar district respectively.
Lot #02 comprises of 08 Schools in Tando Allahyar, 04 Schools in Tharparkar, 03 Schools in Sanghar and 02 Schools in Sujawal district respectively.
Both lots are expected to be completed in 15 months.
